TreeCapitator addon significantly simplifies the process of timber harvesting in Minecraft PE. Break only the first log, and the whole tree will fall instantly. Just like that, you will be saving tool durability and time. Leaves now will be collapsing too, when you chop down the tree.
To chop down tree you need to be Crouching and start hitting the base. You will see as the layers start getting thinner until it collapses.
