A minimap that updates in real-time as you move and shows the terrain and mobs around you in Minecraft Bedrock. Around the map, there are also cardinal directions and the name of the current biome.
You can zoom in to take a better look, change the minimap’s scale, render distance, and FPS. For me, this addon looks great aesthetically and brings the game closer to an RPG.
The minimap doesn’t work underground, as it would cause additional lag.
Here’s how to activate the minimap and configure it
- On mobile devices, you can hide it by sneaking and pressing x
- On PC, you can press F8 to turn it on/off
- To configure the minimap type /configuration in the chat
