Become one of the greatest superheroes on Earth with this DC Universe-inspired addon. In some mysterious way, the technologies behind legendary heroes like Batman, Robin, Nightwing, Superman, Power Girl, and many others have seeped into Minecraft. Thanks to that, it has become possible to craft their suits and gadgets, and even gain superhero powers.
The Easy and Hard Ways to Become a Hero
To craft the suits and gadgets, you have to use the multiple custom crafting tables introduced by this addon. You will find them in the Crafting tab under names like the Gun Crafting Table and the Advanced Crafting Table. From what I understand, the addon doesn’t limit which powers and gadgets you can use simultaneously.
Superhero suits are what turn your character into a specific hero. I tested almost all of them, but unfortunately, only the Bat-Family characters actually worked and granted their signature powers. For the other characters, nothing changed for me. This might be a bug, so I will wait to see if other users experience the same thing.
There is also some sort of progression system that I couldn’t quite get a grasp on. You can find a dumbbell item that you’re supposed to use to train your character, as well as items that increase your character’s Strength. However, even though I used them, I never saw where that power growth was actually reflected.
Overall, I highly recommend this addon to all superhero fans. I thoroughly enjoyed using the Grappling Hook and Glider to traverse the world as Batman, and I’m sure you will too.
