Rustic Agriculture

Embrace the life of a traditional farmer with the Rustic Agriculture addon!

Almanac – an in-game guide

Getting Started: The Almanac

So, you’ve decided to become a farmer, eh? Your first step should be reading the Almanac, our comprehensive in-game farming guide. It contains everything you need to know about growing, harvesting, and processing your crops.

Advanced Farming Mechanics

Rustic Agriculture introduces several new crops, including tomatoes, grapes, hot peppers, apple trees, and olive trees. Unlike vanilla farming, these crops require specific conditions to thrive:

  • Tomatoes & Peppers: These require a Wooden Stake placed in Fertile Soil (a new craftable block) to grow properly.
  • Grapes: Growing grapes is a bit more involved. You’ll need to place two Wooden Stakes (two blocks high) with a two-block gap between them. Tie a rope between the stakes to provide a trellis for the grapes to climb.
Making of brews

Brewing and Processing

Why go through all the effort? Because Rustic Agriculture introduces a deep processing system!

  • Crushing: Smash olives to produce olive oil or grapes to create wine.
  • Fermenting: Use Giant Barrels to ferment your ingredients into various brews, such as mead and wine.

Rustic Decorations

To complete your farm’s aesthetic, the addon features a collection of rustic-themed furniture and decorations. This includes custom lamps, tables, chairs, and more to make your farmhouse feel truly lived-in.
